This blog is a place where I will be sharing my Christian journey with you. I have been through many ups and downs, many trials and even more blessings. I invite you to walk alongside me through my blogs and my writings.
Why am I calling myself an uncultured Christian? Because I ask and answer questions differently than those in the sphere of the Christian culture. As we know, a culture is “the beliefs, customs, arts, etc., of a particular society… a way of thinking, behaving, or working that exists in … an organization… (source – http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/culture).” The Christian culture, therefore, is the set way of thinking and living that exists withing the Christian community. However, I do not accept an answer ‘because it is’ or because I have been told that this is the answer. I search the Bible, I search my understanding and I pray over everything I believe in. Many times, I have been told I question too much, but that is the very reason my faith is so strong, so I think it is best if I continue stretching my faith as much as possible.
I am learning to seek peace and to live in gratitude above all else. I pray that God blesses you with my thoughts and that it becomes an agent of living freely in faith, beauty and simplicity.
